As traffic in Asia-Pacific grows, collaborative, data-driven approaches will be vital for flow and capacity management. The Global Aviation Insights Network (GAIN) is the first globally collaborative data and analytics application designed for ANSPs by ANSPs that measures airspace efficiency in a standardised way to enable sustainable capacity management. A not-for-profit initiative with Founding members NATS, CAAM, skeyes, ATNS and AZANs, this session will explore case studies and demonstrate how insights from GAIN can enable network-wide optimisation that can decrease carbon emissions in the airspace they manage. Moderated by GAIN Steering Group Chair Rachel Gardner-Poole OBE, the panel will feature GAIN members sharing their experiences, alongside CANSO highlighting how GAIN could support Green ATM accreditation on the path to a more sustainable future.
