Speaker Bio

Dave, Operations Director, brings extensive experience as an operational air traffic controller, with a distinguished career spanning over 40 years across both military and civilian ATC operations. He has held validations at London Gatwick and London Heathrow—two of the world’s busiest and most complex airport environments.
In addition to his operational expertise, Dave has delivered international consultancy services across Asia. His achievements include leading a High Intensity Runway Operations (HIRO) project for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group (CAG), supporting recruitment and training for controllers deployed to the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) in Hong Kong, and delivering upskilling programs for air traffic controllers in Indonesia and India.
Driven by a passion for ATC training, Dave joined Micro Nav in 2021 before transferring to its sister company, Global ATS, earlier this year. He now serves as Operations Director, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing air traffic control training and operational excellence
