Edwin Pang

NATS

Key Account Director

Edwin Pang is the Key Account Director for Southeast Asia for NATS Services International and its subsidiaries. In this role, he is focused on building strategic partnerships with Southeast Asian aviation stakeholders, in particular ANSPs and Airport Operators, in service of the NATS purpose: Advancing aviation, keeping the skies safe. Through close collaboration, Edwin is personally motivated to enable regional aviation stakeholders to achieve their capacity, efficiency, growth, resilience and sustainability goals. His work involves sharing knowledge & best practice as well as tailoring solutions for the region whilst drawing on the knowledge, experience of the NATS UK operation.
Edwin holds a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Management in Aberdeen University and started his career over 20 years ago on the NATS graduate programme as a Systems Engineer. Through roles in systems engineering, operational safety, corporate communications, programme management and product management across the UK, Middle East and Southeast Asia, Edwin has strong foundational understanding of ATM and its local application. Edwin’s career has allowed him to gain experience in all phases of the flight (enroute, approach and aerodrome), delivering all major types of aviation projects (airspace changes, technology, consultancy, construction) both as a customer and a supplier. Key projects of note: Smart Tower Prototype for Changi Airport, Follow the Greens for Dubai Airport, Dependent Diagonals runway concept for Dubai Airport, iTEC (new common FDP) and iFACTS (Medium Term Conflict Detection) for UK Air Traffic Control Centres.
