As Senior Director at the Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI), he is responsible for international policy and strategy planning and plays the role as key coordinator with overseas organizations. He also deals with government affairs of the same domain by coordination with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and other public entities. Prior to the current position, he managed Kansai International Airport Office of JCAB as Airport Administrator. Most of his over 30-year-career have been dedicated to planning and implementation of air navigation systems of JCAB. Among his international engagement in aviation, he served ICAO Air Navigation Commission (CY2004-2007), and contributed to multiple technical panels and WGs of the APANPIRG. He also has undertaken crucial missions of aviation safety, aviation environmental protection from practical to executive level both at domestic and regional/international arena.
