ESG Consultancy led the project management of the Global Aviation Aerospace Skills Taskforce (GAAST) at ACI World, coordinating cross-industry collaboration on the future of aviation talent. Through this work and through hands-on leadership in workforce gender inclusion projects in air traffic control; ESG Consultancy gained deep global insights into the shifts reshaping aviation’s workforce landscape.
One insight stood out: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are essential to building a purpose-driven, skilled, and resilient aviation workforce.
This session explores how ESG integration can drive workforce transformation across the Asia-Pacific aviation ecosystem; from ANSPs and airports to manufacturers and cargo operators. Francine Carron, founder of ESG Consultancy, will share global lessons from GAAST and gender inclusion initiatives, translating them into practical, region-specific strategies. These include ESG-skills training, CSRD readiness, climate governance, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
With the recent launch of ESG Hainan, ESG Consultancy is now embedded in the region to help aviation actors align with global sustainability standards (CSRD, ICAO-CORSIA, ISO) while building future-ready teams.
Participants will gain:
• A clear understanding of ESG’s role in shaping aviation’s future workforce
• Tools for building ESG skills and culture across all employee levels
• Insights into gender equity and social governance in operational roles
• Ideas for cross-border partnerships that support sustainable workforce growth
This session is ideal for business leaders, training managers, HR, ESG & sustainablity officers, and C-level executives preparing for the next chapter of sustainable aviation.
